Goong (Princess Hours)

This is a great K-drama!! seriously.. hehe..they are even making a sequel to it goong 2..and Goong S (special goong) is currently airing in Korea!! But, Goong S isn't the same at all like Goong.. Goong S has different characters and everything.. Goong 2 is the sequel to this very funny drama.. hehe...=)this is one of the best dramas that I have ever watched..and it is really entertaining and funny!!

This drama Goong is based on a manga by Park So Hee. It's about a story of youg love in the face of tradition and politics... It tells us about the Korean Royal Family who lives in a grand palace..but the reputation of the Royal Family is declining and to make things look better for the royal family, the palace decides to marry off the Crown Prince (Lee Shin)..also since the story began about the king being terminally ill, this prepares the Crown Prince, Shin as an immediate succesor. The thing is though, Shin's grandfather made a promise to another man when he was younger to marry off their grandchildren together.. and so, Shin's bride to be is Shin Chae Gyung..a very spirited girl...which is completely the opposite of Shin, who is more mature and composed..and very cool...But as you know, the story doesn't end that way..It's a korean drama..so you expect more drama... hehe..=) so, then..comes this other character Lee Yul (he's Shin's cousin and also the former Crown Prince..his father died..so he had to let go of his position as a Crown Prince).. He has been living in England for the last 14 years but he appears in Korea all of the sudden. He ends up being in the same school and the same class as Chae Gyung. He almost immediately fell in love with Chae Gyung... and he tries to break the unsteady marriage of Shin and Chae gyung appart and well, basically he is very evil!!!!! also, Chae Gyung's and Shin's marriage can also fall apart because of shin's ex-girlfriend..Min Hyo Rin..so..watch it and figure out whether Shin and Chae Gyung can stay till the end or whether the hardships that they meet break them apart..You got to watch this!!! hehe..=)

I would give this drama a 9.5/10..It's really good and Shin is really hot!! hehe..=) oh yeah, and they have really good OSTs..seriously!!!! Like Perhaps Love by Howl & J..that song is beeaauuttiiffuull..hehe...

Since I wrote about Hana Yori Dango..it'll only make sense if I wrote about Meteor Garden right? and Kind of compare them? hehe..=) well, the story line is basically the same..(since they were based on the same manga anyway)..honestly speaking though, I like Meteor Garden better than Hana Yori Dango though..so, basically it's the same story..San Chai (or Makino Tsukushi) in Hana Yori Dango is really poor, but somehow she got accepted into Ying De, a really famous school for all the rich people..hehe..=) well, in Hana Yori Dango it's high school while in Meteor Garden Ying De is a college.. hehe..=) so anyway, basically San Chai angers Dao Ming Shi (Tsukasa) the leader of F4 and then her life in college turned completely upside down. hehe..=) from being un-noticed to becoming the target of the school.. and then..she falls in love with one of the members of F4, not Dao Ming Shi though..but then Dao Ming Shi falls in love with San Chai..hehe..=) it's a very good love story..although I have to say tha Meteor Garden 2, the sequel was really dissapointing!!!!!!! but if you haven't watched Meteor Garden 1..u definitely should..it's the BOMB..haha..because of this, I totally fell in love with Hua Zhe Lei and Vic Zhou too!! hehe..=) and the guys are hot..Hotter than the dudes in Hana Yori Dango!! hehe..=)...seriously!! u gotta watch it!! and also, this drama was really popular in almost all the countries in Asia... like Taiwan, China (obviously), South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Vietnam, well..and lots more..haha..=) just can't seem to remember the names of the countries right now..haha..

actually I am currently watching Hana Yori Dango season 2..but that series just started and also only a couple of episodes just got out and so I don't really wanna write anything about it yet..cuz I don't know how it's going to turn out..hehe..=) so I'm just going to write about season 1..although it's been a while since I watched it.haha..=) Okay, so basically this drama is based on the Manga "Boys over flower"in the US..or in Japan Hana Yori Dango..(hahaha)..oh yeah, and Taiwan made a drama out of it too..it's called Meteor Garden (Liu Xing Hua Yuan)..and there's two seasons to that too..haha..I watched both..but I really have to say that number 1 is sooo much better than number 2..(for Meteor Garden..still do not know for Hana Yori Dango)..anyway, basically it's about this girl..she's not rich at all..and she goes to this school for rich people..it's called Eitoku.. it's for the upper class people..and apparently, this girl (Makino Tsukushi) is not one of them..haha..=)..

The school is basically dominated by 4 guys who call themselves F4 (Flower 4)..everyone is scared..because they are so powerfull..and then, they give out Red Tags (a declaration of war basically) to people they do not like and basically if you do get a Red Tag, the whole school will bully you and turn against you..even your best friend wouldn't want to talk to you... haha..(I know, this will never happen in real life right? hehe).. So one day Tsukushi angers the F4 leader, Tsukasa.. and well, she ends up getting a red tag..haha.. well, things go really bad for her..but then... things happen..haha..as usual.."love happens"... basically she fell in love with one of the members of F4 (I'm not telling you which one..but if you watched Meteor Garden, you prolly know the answer anyway..) but then the leader of F4, Tsukasa falls in love with her.. haha..so all I can tell you is that YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY WATCH THIS DRAMA!!! To rate this drama, I would give it a 9.5/10..It's really good!! haha...

This drama is about a girl, Amane Kaoru..played by Sawajiri Erika..she has suffered from an incurable disease called XP (Xeroderma Pigmentosum) since she was a child..and basically she can't be exposed to the sun.. Amane Kaoru is aspiring to be a musician and to start on her career, she composes songs and sings on the streets..(basically a street musician)..well..somehow, she met Kouji Fujishiro (played by Yamada Takayuki) and destiny brings them together.. and well, because of Kaoru, Kouji who has stopped playing the guitar for some reasons, began playing again...well, other things happen in this drama too..but I can't give it away like that..u guys gotta watch it..but this drama is really good..the actresses/actors played out their roles really well..and well, to rate this drama..I would give it a 9/10..i really enjoyed watching this drama...u guys should definitely watch it!!!!!

Death Note 1

This movie is based on the anime and manga Death Note. It's a simplified version though. There's two parts to this movie..well, I've only watched the 1st part of this movie though. the 2nd one is still in theatres in Asia..so I have no means of watching it now. But, the first part is on Youtube...so you can watch it there if you want to. So, basically this movie is about this really smart guy, Yagami Light finding a notebook..called the "Death Note"...in the manga and anime..he was still a high school student when he found this "Death Note" but in the movies, he was a college student. Anyway, that's not important..haha..so this "Death Note"...it's a black notebook and if you write someone's name in it, you can kill him/her...and Yagami Light starts killing all these criminals..and he becomes real famous..and he's called "Kira" by everyone..but the police and detectives don't like it..and they are trying to find out who "Kira" really is...and well, this guy "L" (nobody knows his real name) is the one in charge of finding "Kira.".. Like Yagami Light "L" is also a genius..and one of the people he suspects to be "Kira" is Yagami Light [which is true, but nobody knows it..] and well..yeah...it's a battle between the geniuses..haha...I know it sounds really complicated..but I can only tell you that it's really good..well, this movie is really good!! I really like it..and the manga and the anime's also really good...[they finished the manga already but the anime is still in production..] you guys should watch the movie and the anime.b/c the movie is really shortened..haha..and I can't wait to watch the 2nd part of this movie..hahaha

I'll give this movie a rating of 9.5/10..It's really good!!! and also because the Shinigami in the movie looks exactly like the Shinigami in the manga and the anime!! It's excellent!!!

This drama is based on a manga... It's about a new nurse, her name is Misora Aoi..and this drama is basically about the troubles/problems she has while being a nurse..She is a 3rd year nurse at a pretty prestigious hospital..but she was involved in trouble in the ER and so she is transferred to another hospital..and her job is to take care of patients who survived the ER... and she meets a lot of dishnonest doctors, and also a lot of unskilled doctors..and well, she discovers that there's a lot of hospital politics..=) and she finds out the truth, that hospitals care more about profits than they do about patients..but she still takes care of patients really well..But, the harder she tries it seems that the doctors in the hospital dislike her even more...but with the help of another nurse and a doctor, she gradually changes the minds of people around her...

It's a pretty good drama, and according to the Oricon..it is one of the best dramas of the year..(i forgot the rank though)..but it's ratings were pretty high..I like it..I'd give it an 8.5/10... haha..but I still have to say that if you are looking forward to watching a medical drama, Iryu is the one that you would wanna watch..but this is pretty good too!!!!

This is the 3rd "seasonal" work that director Yoon Suk Ho made. The first one was autumn tale, the second one was winter sonata..summer scent is the third...while the last one is spring waltz. This is a drama about love and about fate. So Yoo Min Woo played by Song Seung Heon had someone he loved, Soh Eun Hye (played by Shin Ae). Eun Hye also loved Min Woo. But one day Eun Hye got into a car accident and dies... but her heart was transplanted into a girl called Shim Hye Won (played by Soh Yeh Jin), who suffered heart disease since she was a child. Anyways, being heart broken, Min Woo goes to Paris...but when he returns to Korea, he meets Hye won..when they first met, Hye won's heart beats faster when she is around Min Woo.

Hye Won feels weird/jittery around Min Woo..The thing is, Hye Won already has a boyfriend and also her boyfriend's sister likes Min Woo...(sounds complicated doesn't it?)...hehe..anyway, Min Woo also likes Hye Won but then he feels that he is betraying Eun Hye's love when he finds out that he is falling for Hye Won...It's kind of complicated..haha...well, I guess this is what makes it a drama right? anyway, this drama is pretty good..but you got to watch it yourself to see the ending. I would give this drama an 8/10...It's okay..but it kinda lags too..hehe..=P and the ending, I can't say that I really like it..hehe..

When I first watched this drama, I kinda fell asleep..but then this drama turned out to be a really good drama..hehe..=P so, if you are watching this drama and falling asleep, do not b afraid..huahuahua..anyway, this drama is about Kai Yuuki played by Tsumabuki Satoshi (drool).. He is in his last year in the university..and he's looking for a job. but, so far..he has not found one..one day, he sees a girl playing a violin....she has a very bad personality and temper..and she's also hard of hearing. (she used to be able to hear but then her hearing deteriorated..) she's still very good though, although she kinda needs to hear to be able to play the violin. This girl, Sae Hagio closed off her inner self from the outside world..but then after meeting Kai, she kinda changed...and they became friends..and lots happen too..

I would give this drama an 8/10..the meaning of this drama is really good (friendship and everything)...But, i dunno..it's just not one of my favorites..but still..you guys should watch it..huehuehue...

My Lovely Sam Soon (K-drama)

This is actually the first time that I will be posting about a K-drama. hehehe..=P anyway, i watched this drama last year I think..and a bunch of people also watched this drama. It's really good and funny. hehehe..=P and the actress, Kim Sun-ah that plays Kim Sam Soon in this drama is really really good. hehe..=P so funny...and then the actors in this drama is so hot. Daniel Henney and Hyun Bin.. huehuehue...soo...you should really watch this.

It's a drama based on this girl... She's not very pretty..she's 29...she's fat, she can't dance, can't play piano..and is pretty much the kind of girl that guys usually doesn't want. in the beginning of this drama, during christmas eve, she was dumped by her boyfriend hyeon woo.. and guess who saw all of this happening...Jin heon... well, one thing happened after another, and Sam Soon gets a job at his restaurant..and Jin Heon wants her to become his pretend girlfriend... but then..Sam Soon actually falls in love with him..and when she realizes that, Jin Heon's old girlfriend comes back from America..and tries to win his heart... well, stuff keeps on happening..I guess you have to watch it to know..hehehe..=P I would give this drama an 8/10... it's really funny and all..but it kinda lags...somehow..i just think that it can be shortened..hehe..=P

Nodame Cantabile (J-drama)

This drama is really new. It just stopped airing this christmas...hehe..=P it is considered to be one of the best dramas of 2006. It is said to be number 5. This drama is based on a manga. It's about this girl, Noda Megumi, or "Nodame"...who is a student at Momogaoka College of Music. She is really talented, and she plays by ear..she cannot read music though. She is also a very messy girl..she shampoos once in 3 days..(gross right?) and her room is like a dumpster..(literally speaking).. She usually steals her friend's food and she's really crazy about food.. (she's very greedy too..hehe.)... The story begins when Nodame falls in love with the prince of the music school...Chiaki Shinichi. This guy is really talented..both in the piano and the violin...He is concentrating with the piano..but his real ambition is to be a conductor. Chiaki has this very OCDish character. You can tell once you see the difference between his apartment and Nodam'e apartment.. and he can't stand Nodame's dirtiness..and actually shampoos her..hahaha..

This drama is really good so far.. I haven't watched the last episode yet..but...this drama is really good!!!!!! it's so funny..hehehe..=P it's a comedy drama... u shuld watch it if u wanna laugh..hehehe...Also..if u are interested in music..this drama has some really good classical music..hehe..=P seriously.... I give it a 9.5/10...hehe
