Basically this drama is about the Akane family who own a teppanyaki place in Tokyo.. So, it's mostly about this girl, Kagura Akane played by Horikita Maki (who is in Nobuta wo Produce).. well, she's the only daughter of the Akane family...and she is really proud of her father Tetsuma Akane..who is the Number 1 teppanyaki chef in Japan. hehe..=P But she herself has some pretty amazing skills herself too.. But, sadly..when her mom died, her father became kinda uninterested with his work and dissapeared..haha...and so Kagura Akane.. had to protect her family's restaurant all by herself.. But..this is not the end of the story guys..one day, this girl who is a rich daughter of a major food company comes by her restaurant and tells her to move out. she said that akane's dad had borrowed some money...and the restaurant is kind of in their hands..so, Akane decided to close the store.she was feeling really down by then and well, kind of dissapointed I guess..But, her father's friend shows her a grilling pan that her father really liked to make teppanyaki in..and this made her like teppanyaki again..So, she makes up her mind to close the store and look for her father..But...hehehe...everywhere she goes..she ends up in a battle!!! (a cooking battle..) hehe..=)
Well, at first I thought this drama was okay..but towards the end..hehe..NOT ANYMORE..it got kinda boring..cuz all you see each episode is like a cooking battle!! so, it got uninteresting after some point...For me at least...The ratings for this drama isn't that high either..anyway, I guess if I have to rate it..a 6/10..haha..(is that being kinda mean?) but I didn't really like it..haha...BUT, if you like to cook and stuff..this drama would b interesting for you guys...I admit that the food looks delicious..hahaha...
